While the senior living field is currently experiencing modest growth in demand due to the “birth dearth” that occurred during the Great Depression, The retirement communities across the country are preparing for the impending influx of aging Boomers by making adaptations to their communities in terms of infrastructure, amenities and marketing, and call on firms like Love & Company for help meeting those needs. Here are the new members of the Love & Company team who will help take them there:
Sara Wise has joined the Love & Company team as the vice president of strategic services. Before joining the Love & Company team, Sara worked as the director of marketing feasibility at Erickson Living, a national developer of retirement communities in Catonsville, Md., and the director of marketing services at Hamlyn Senior Marketing. Sara has experience launching new communities, as well as developing marketing plans and conducting sales and marketing audits for retirement communities.
Nicole Hospelhorn came to Love & Company as the vice president of strategic services. As a former Erickson Living strategic marketing director, Nicole has extensive experience in senior living and has been heavily involved in the planning and execution of the integrated marketing, advertising and branding of several communities, from mature to start-ups. She helped grow Erickson from a small regional company to a business with more than $1 billion in annual revenue. Bob Gunter has joined Love & Company as the company’s operations director. Before joining the Love & Company team, he was the vice president of operations at Avalon Settlements and the director of accounting and human resources at Leading Authorities, Inc. Bob has experience with supervising workflow, planning and managing IT systems, developing business and marketing plans, and facilitating corporate expansion. Kathy Houser has been hired as a strategic services director and brings an extensive background in sales and marketing to the Love & Company team. Prior to working at Love & Company, Kathy was the marketing manager at the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) where she conducted needs analysis assessments and created marketing plans. Angelica Carter has joined the Love & Company team as the marketing manager. In the past, she was the marketing manager at MMG, a global communications company in Rockville, Md., and the assistant account supervisor at Merrick Towle. Angelica has experience managing corporate marketing and planning communications initiatives to support revenue growth. Hayley Gurtler has been hired as a plan manager. Previously, Hayley was the funding and marketing manager coordinator at Perry Funding, LLC, and is the marketing and events coordinator at DJZ Event Entertainment. Hayley has experience creating promotional materials and functioning as a company’s spokesperson and point of media contact. Earline Vanegas has been hired as the office assistant. Earline has experience providing administrative support, and using interpersonal skills to deliver top-notch customer service.
