Over the past 10+ years, increases in construction costs and home values have far outpaced increases in entrance fees. This has resulted in many communities finding that the cost of building new residences is prohibitively high compared to the pricing of their existing residences. They are also finding that the costs to renovate existing residences on turnover—as well as costs to keep amenity spaces up to date with consumer expectations—are increasing faster than they can keep up with.
The problem (and the solution) is not with current costs or the entrance fees for new residences. Rather, it’s with entrance fees for current residences. This webinar will tell the stories of Life Plan Community leaders who have found ways to significantly enhance community cash flow and prepare for future growth and renovations. Viewers will come away with examples to consider as to how to address their own quest to improve their financial position.
