My “Star of the Show” Award Goes to Rev-A-Shelf

Jan 13, 2017 | Industry Trends

Of all the fascinating products and technology I saw at the International Builders Show (#IBS2017) in Orlando, my favorite was a line of cabinet hardware offered by Rev-A-Shelf. These innovative thinkers have derived a variety of ways to make the contents of your kitchen cabinets, drawers and shelves readily accessible without stretching, kneeling, or grabbing a step stool.

As the owner of two, hard-to-access, lower corner kitchen cabinets, I especially appreciated their design of track shelving that enables you to easily pull all of the contents of those cabinets—even what’s in the deepest, darkest corner—out on into the open for easy access, then slide it back in again.

I also liked the pull-down shelves for upper kitchen cabinets, which you can see below.

While products like these certainly make accessing things easier for seniors, they are the kind of thing everyone can appreciate.
